About Miso
Miso Edits is a startup video editing platform. Think Fiverr, built specifically for video editors. We're looking for creators to share their real experience with the platform, in their own words.
The work
You'll receive two free short-form edits for your own videos and use our new dashboard to request and manage them. After trying the platform, send us a video with:
- A short hook. Open with a positive experience if it reflects what actually happened. For example: “It used to take me hours to edit my videos before I found Miso Edits.”
- 30–90 seconds about your experience. Tell us what using the platform was like, what worked, and what could be better.
Your video should be honest, not a rehearsed script. If you had a negative experience, tell us what went wrong. We won't run that video as an ad, but the feedback is just as valuable to us at this stage. You'll be paid either way.
Usage rights
- The $250 base pay includes the right to run your video as an ad on any platform for 30 days.
- We may extend ad usage up to a total of six months, with additional compensation as described below.
- We'll retain the video for internal use for 60 days after the final day the ad runs. During that retention period, we won't publish it publicly.
Approval, timeline & payment
- We'll pay a 50% deposit ($125) when the contract is signed.
- Creators are responsible for all costs associated with payments.
- The initial video must be delivered within 14 days of signing the contract.
- The base rate includes up to two revisions.
Extra compensation
If we use your video as an ad beyond the first 30 days, you'll receive an additional $250 per 30 days, prorated by the day, up to a total ad usage period of six months.
Creators based in the contiguous United States whose primary audience is other creators may also receive a separately negotiated fee for posting the content on their own channels.
